Wibke Pendse

Wibke Pendse is the Head of Portfolio Management for First Citizens Fund Banking, overseeing the group’s loan portfolio to venture capital and private equity firms. She brings over 20 years of experience in providing debt solutions to private investment managers in the US, Canada and Europe. By leveraging First Citizens Fund Banking’s unique platform and unparalleled expertise as an industry leader for more than four decades, Wibke and her team deliver a comprehensive set of holistic, flexible debt solutions to their clients.

Prior to this role, Wibke held various senior leadership positions with the Fund Banking group, most recently as Region Manager West Coast. She also established Silicon Valley Bank’s EMEA Fund Banking team based in London in 2014. Prior to joining the group in 2010, she was responsible for developing and managing client relationships with venture capital and private equity firms in the western regions of the U.S. and Canada at other financial institutions in the Bay Area.

Wibke began her career in 2002 at HSBC Trinkaus & Burkhardt's commercial banking practice in Duesseldorf, Germany. She holds a MBA from the Leuphana University in Lueneburg, Germany.
