Vera Shokina

Vera leads the Startup Banking portfolio management team at First Citizens Innovation Banking. Responsible for commercial banking teams nationwide, Vera oversees a portfolio of startups that includes enterprise software, consumer internet, Web3/crypto, biopharma, diagnostics, medical devices, and healthtech companies. Vera also manages a large portfolio of international technology and venture capital clients in the UK, Israel, Latin America, India, Asia, Middle East, Australia, and New Zealand.

Prior to joining First Citizens Innovation Banking, Vera was a partner and COO of Runa Capital, a $250 million venture capital fund, where she was responsible for all finance, legal, operations, and investor relations functions.
