Steven Mazovetskiy

Steven is a senior relationship advisor team lead for the East Coast Consumer Practice team. In this role, his primary focus is on account setup and optimization as well as liquidity preservation opportunities for excess capital and fraud mitigation tactics. Previously, he was with the Software and Internet Practice group for First Citizens Innovation Banking.

Based in New York City, he joined the bank in 2018. Steven advises his clients on Know Your Client (KYC) and fraud mitigation, as well as finding the right banking solutions and credit decisions to meet their business needs. He enjoys being a senior relationship advisor because it blends various knowledge and skillsets to create success for clients.

Steven participates in First Citizens Innovation Banking's mentorship programs and is honored to share his knowledge and experience with other relationship advisors across the US. He values building close, family-like relationships with clients to help impact their day-to-day decisions and allow them to grow to their full potential.

He has 12 years of experience in the finance industry and has held various roles. He earned his bachelor's degree in finance and economics from the City University of New York.

Steven is a self-described "sneaker head" and makes custom sneakers. He loves traveling the world with his wife to explore wildlife and nature in remote locations that have not been heavily impacted by human presence.
