Scott Middleton

Scott Middleton is a Senior Merchant Services Solution Advisor with First Citizens Innovation Banking. Scott is responsible for designing comprehensive merchant services solutions for First Citizens Innovation Banking clients throughout the U.S supporting the innovation economy. In this role, he identifies & advises best fit technical solutions to process card payments while expanding their global sales footprint, improve efficiencies, reduce costs, simplify reconciliation and mitigate fraud and PCI compliance requirements. 

Scott covers all First Citizens Innovation Banking niche relationship teams – Technology, FinTech, Healthcare/Life Science, Energy & Resource Innovation (ERI), Start-Up Banking, Sponsor Finance and Wine.

Scott’s extensive Merchant experience began 25 years ago at Bank of America Merchant Services prior to joining First Citizens Innovation Banking in 2010. Additionally, he holds a bachelor’s degree in Law & Society from UC Santa Barbara.
