Patrick Haggerty

Patrick Haggerty is Managing Director of Investor Coverage & Business Development at First Citizens Innovation Banking. Since 2010, Patrick has held a variety of roles at First Citizens Innovation Banking, working with venture capitalists to finance high-growth early & public-stage innovation companies across Technology & Life Science industries. He enjoys learning from founders, partnering with investors, and making meaningful connections between both networks.

Patrick attended the University of California, Berkeley’s Haas School of Business for his MBA and earned an undergraduate degree in Finance and Political Science at Santa Clara University. At Santa Clara University, Patrick was a Buck Bannan Scholarship Recipient, which was awarded to the student who embodied the university’s spirit & sense of community through leadership, and was Captain of the SCU Rugby Team.

Patrick supports the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund and mentors newly diagnosed children and their families as they prepare to take on this new challenge. He enjoys outdoor activities, especially mountain biking, golf, running, swimming, surfing & sailing.
