Adam Tweedy

Adam leads the investor coverage practice for First Citizens Innovation Banking’s life science and healthcare business. He and his team provide tailored services, industry insights and strategic guidance to top investors in the innovation economy.  

Prior to his current role, Adam led a team focused upon delivering solutions for the liquidity needs of the bank’s corporate clients. Adam also helped build and lead Fund Banking business, delivering solutions to the bank’s venture capital and private equity firm clients.

When Adam joined Silicon Valley Bank in 2001, he brought significant experience in startup and international business to the bank as a co-founder and chief financial officer for a startup and as a management consultant.  Adam began his banking career as a relationship manager at Fleet National Bank in its acquisition finance division. 

Adam holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College. He has Series 7 and Series 63 securities licenses, and he completed the Tuck Leadership and Strategic Impact Executive Education program at Dartmouth.
